The Army organised a medical camp at Laroka, Lam to commemorate Jhangar Day. The camp was part of the series of events to commemorate Indian Army's emphatic win over Pakistan Army during 1948 Indo Pak war.
A strength of 330 people from various villages of Naushera town benefitted from the medical camp and availed medical consultation & treatment from specialists. Essential medical services were made available free of cost to local population by a joint team of highly qualified and motivated team of doctors from Army and civil administration.
This initiative aimed to provide quality health care to people settled in remote villages under Naushera Tehsil. The villagers & locals expressed gratitude and appreciation towards the Army for undertaking the noble cause of addressing the medical problems of local populace close to their homes.
